Bangers
Sausages, Al Fresco.
They had sausages all year round, but eating them outside always made them taste special somehow. As a small and rather unsophisticated boy he wouldn’t have known the meaning of the term ‘Al Fresco’, but had he heard it, he’d have recognised the exotic note that chimed with the way he felt eating a sausage, outdoors, and in the dark too.
